The International Broadcasting Convention, is the largest annual gathering of the media, entertainment and technology industry in Europe, and one of the two shows that set the agenda worldwide. It has been held in Amsterdam for decades and takes over the RAI every September.

The scale is hard to picture until you are standing in it. Around 45,000 visitors from more than 170 countries walk fourteen halls filled with over 1,300 exhibitors, from the largest broadcasters and streaming platforms to the specialist manufacturers whose products end up in your customers’ hands. Alongside the exhibition runs a conference program with more than 600 speakers, plus free sessions on the show floor covering everything from AI in production to live sport, creator-driven media and trust in content.

IBC opens its doors on 11 September and Mafico will be present for the full four days. It is the one week in the year where the brands we distribute in the Benelux are all under one roof, with their newest gear on the table and the people who built it standing next to it.
