DV Mark is the guitar amplifier brand created by Marco De Virgiliis, founder of Markbass, driven by a simple yet powerful question from legendary guitarist Hiram Bullock:
“Marco, why don’t you make something for us guitar players?”

This moment sparked the beginning of a new journey. With his team of skilled collaborators and a strong desire to innovate, Marco began developing the first prototypes of lightweight, portable guitar amp heads under the name Mark Guitar. The result was a compact, great-sounding amplifier built specifically for Hiram—a design that would go on to inspire the first generation of DV Mark products.

Over the years, extensive research, countless artist collaborations, and a deep passion for tone led to the official birth of DV Mark. Drawing from the experience of Markbass and integrating new materials and technologies—including neodymium speakers, which were initially met with skepticism—Marco and his team created a full lineup of professional-grade guitar amplifiers.

Today, DV Mark amplifiers are trusted by guitarists around the world. These amps are celebrated not only for their lightweight and portable design, but also for their ability to deliver classic tones through the latest innovations in technology.
