The Esports Foundation has announced that OBSBOT will once again serve as the Official Camera and Webcam Partner for the Esports World Cup 2026. The tournament, taking place in Paris from July 6 to August 23, will feature more than 2,000 players representing over 200 clubs from more than 100 countries across 25 tournaments.
As part of the partnership, over 500 OBSBOT cameras will be deployed throughout the event. The AI-powered cameras will be used for tournament broadcasts, player interviews, creator content, behind-the-scenes coverage and live productions across the competition venues and Fan Fest.
In addition to supporting the event’s production, OBSBOT will host an interactive booth where visitors can experience its camera technology firsthand. The company will also contribute to the creation of real-time event content for the Esports World Cup’s official channels and participating esports organizations.
“Fans don’t just want to watch the action, they want to experience the emotion, intensity and personality that define every match,” said Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation, in the official announcement. He added that OBSBOT’s technology helps capture authentic player moments and bring viewers closer to the competition. Source
OBSBOT CEO Liu Bo also welcomed the renewed partnership, describing esports as “one of the world’s most dynamic stages for live entertainment.” According to Liu, intelligent imaging technology gives creators and production teams greater freedom to capture defining moments throughout the event. The renewed collaboration follows OBSBOT’s involvement in the 2025 Esports World Cup, where its cameras were used during the Opening Ceremony, the Ronaldo vs. Kaká EA SPORTS FC Showmatch, EWC Boxing Night, and several community events.
